Semi-Skilled Operative required for permanent role based in Bangor Co.Down Your new company A well-established company who specialise in the provision of pollution response services to the Insurance Industry are currently looking for a permanent Semi-skilled Operative/ Groundworker based within 10 miles of Bangor Co.Down to work on residential oil spill projects. Your new role You will be carrying out work on private properties where there has been an oil spillage which will require digging out the contaminated ground and replacing it. You will be working throughout the Co.Down area. The hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and where required some weekend work where required. Overtime will be paid for additional hours. What you'll need to succeed You will be required to have: Experience within a multi-skilled construction role with the relevant skills and physical fitness to undertake hand digging, groundwork's, laying drainage, concreting etc. Ability to drive a mini digger/dumper is desirable. Full, clean driving licence essential Training will be provided as required. You must be willing to travel and work away from home throughout the week if required throughout Northern Ireland. Accomodation will be provided.You must also have the right to work in the UK and will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
