12-Month rolling contract with possibility of becoming permanent Rate: £33.63 PAYE - £45.26 UMBRELLA 40 Hours a week The Post Holder will be responsible for the management of the Hawk Qatar Supply Chain in the UK (RAF Samlesbury, RAF Leeming & RAF Brough). The Post Holder will lead a team to deliver all aspects of the supply service required to ensure availability of the Hawk Aircraft for the contract duration. As the Supply Chain Lead, the Post Holder is responsible to the Head of Maintenance. This includes leading and managing the strategic, operational and financial outputs from definition, planning and delivery of the supply chain service for the QAF Hawk availability service, to meet both customer and business requirements. The Post Holder will be responsible for ensuring that sufficient parts are forecasted, contracted, procured, repaired, manufactured, stored and transported to the relevant cost, time and quality. Hence, enabling the company to achieve the supply performance measures required as part of the Support Solution. What You'll Bring: Deep understanding of life insurance balance sheets, balance sheet management principles, life insurance products, and regulatory frameworks (Solvency UK, IFRS 17, UK GAAP) Deep experience in delivering ORSA and Recovery and Resolution Plans with a good understanding of all risks facing a life insurance balance sheet, and a strong understanding of financial and investment risks Extensive experience in effective and efficient financial risk oversight (including developing risk frameworks and setting risk appetite), focusing on material risks and balancing commercial outcomes and risk considerations.
