Job Title: Configuration Analyst iO Associates have partnered with a leading client who operates in the aerospace and defense industry, serving both domestic and international customers. With a focus on Platform Integration, Ground Based Air Defence, Special Projects, and Weapons, they provide cutting-edge products and services to various governmental bodies. They are now seeking a Configuration Analyst to join their team in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of complex engineering projects. The successful candidate will apply Configuration Management principles and practices and have the opportunity to progress into more senior roles contributing to the company's Digital Engineering strategy. Responsibilities: Apply Configuration Management principles and tools to maintain project integrity Analyze product design changes and their impacts Support the establishment and maintenance of configuration baselines Contribute to change control processes Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with configuration management policies Develop digital engineering skills and participate in the implementation of digital transformation initiatives Essential Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related discipline Experience in a Configuration Management role in an engineering environment Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and standards Familiarity with Configuration Management tools and Product Lifecycle Management systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and commitment to quality Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience in Configuration Management within the defense industry Familiarity with DEF-STAN 05-57 and Windchill PLM Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologies Understanding of data integration concepts and technologies Exposure to Systems Engineering and SysML Appreciation of complex system design and verification If you possess the qualifications and experience required for this role, we encourage you to apply by submitting your CV.
