Key Responsibilities Produce and review pricing quotations for new business. Lead or contribute to projects, ensuring timely and effective progress. Gain strong technical understanding of internal systems and tools, and identify areas for efficiency improvements. Stay open to new ideas and technology, showing adaptability and resilience. Contribute to a collaborative team culture, support junior colleagues, and assist with coaching. Work with internal teams (e.g., reinsurance and commercial) to help deliver competitive propositions. Skills & Knowledge Solid understanding of the DB pension risk transfer market and relevant regulations. Familiarity with actuarial pricing concepts (bulk annuity transactions are a bonus!). Comfortable with Excel and programming; and willingness to learn new tech tools. Effective communicator with good teamwork and self-management abilities Qualifications Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent).

This role is not limited to but includes: Maintain and update the Economic Capital Model (ECM), reporting results to senior management. Oversee and enhance the Catastrophe Risk module within the Standard Formula. Partner with Exposure Management to keep reinsurance programmes and catastrophe data up to date.
