About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, forward-thinking financial services firm based in Horsham. With a strong reputation for providing high-quality financial planning, they place collaboration, support, and career development at the heart of what they do.As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting a team of 5 advisers, 2 of which work solely on protection. The role involves working closely with fellow paraplanners, and benefitting from full IFA administrative support. This structure allows you to focus on what you do best-technical analysis and planning-while also giving you the chance to develop your skills and progress towards an advisory role in the future.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to a team of five advisers, two of whom work exclusively on protection advice, ensuring financial plans are both accurate and client-focused. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with advisers to prepare detailed financial plans and reports.
  • Collecting and analysing client data (income, expenditure, assets, liabilities, insurance, investments).
  • Producing retirement projections, cash-flow models, and insurance assessments using financial planning software (e.g., Voyant).
  • Undertaking product and fund research to support recommendations.
  • Ensuring all work is fully compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate client records in CRM and planning systems.
  • Supporting advisers with ad-hoc administrative tasks where required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience as a paraplanner and would be someone who enjoys working as part of a team, with access to strong support and opportunities for progression. You will have:

  • Previous experience in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
  • Broad knowledge of financial services products.
  • Confidence in contributing to the advice process.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Industry recognised qualifications are desirable but not essential
