Internal Sales Opportunity

Location: North Kent
Salary: Around 35,000 (Negotiable and dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week)

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established merchant business as a Internal Salesperson. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
  • Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in the warehouse as required.
  • Assist with deliveries as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a plumbers' or builders merchant environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
