Description
Create and provide all required shipping documentation.
Monitor and maintain departmental costs - freight, packing/crating etc.
Plan and direct product shipped in timely and cost-effective manner and satisfies requirements.
Manage the packing of goods in accordance with customer requirements and country regulations.
Support the export compliance process for the Redditch site to satisfy Gardner Denver legal, UK and follow regulations.
Apply for and process export licences.
Preparation of export documents, Letters of Credit presentations, packing lists, delivery notes and invoices.
Ensure all records are maintained and provided as and when required by regulatory body or security agency.
Review and resolve customer complaints.
Observe compliance/shipping policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
Update import/export trade compliance changes and identify/provide appropriate changes
Negotiate rates with freight companies and service providers.
Attend sales/production meetings.
Support Contracts and Projects Team.
Extensive use of SAP.
Place purchase orders to suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement.
Provide cover for the department in sickness and holidays.
