HGV1 & HGV2 Drivers

Streamline Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers, for our customer based in Pineham, Northampton.

Our customer is a leading logistics provider working with one of Britain s fastest growing suppliers of tools and building supplies.

This role will offer regular work, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of permanent work in the future.

General details:

• We currently have DAY (start 04:00-08:00) and NIGHT (start 16:00-20:00) positions available.

• You will be required to drive a Class 1 OR Class 2 vehicle with a tail-lift, depending on your licence category.
• You will need to assist with loading and unloading the vehicle, this will mainly consist of moving cages but there may also be some loose items.
• You will be delivering to retail premises. Please note: if working on nights the stores will be closed at the time of delivery, so you will be responsible for unlocking/locking the stores, setting the alarm etc.
• A driver s mate may be provided for certain routes but this is not guaranteed.
• Full paid training will be provided for this role.
• Candidates will be required to pass an assessment and will also need to do a drugs & alcohol test.

Payment details:

• PAYE From £14.18 p/h to £18.66 p/h
• Umbrella From £17.97 p/h to £23.75 p/h
• Minimum 10 hours guaranteed for all shifts.

Requirements:

• A Class 1 (category C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• All driving cards must be UK versions (driving licence, digi card and CPC card)
• A minimum of 2 years practical HGV experience is required.
• A maximum of 6 points on your licence with no serious endorsements.
