Early Years Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary) Newcastle-upon-Tyne (NE5) £444.60- £450 per week (salary is dependent upon experience and/or qualifications) September 2025 July 2026 The School and Role We are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant on behalf of a small primary school in Newcastle. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be expected to deliver both general and one-to-one support, working as part of an established team, primarily in Early Years section of the school. The role would be Monday to Friday, 08.30am 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who has experience working with young children with special educational needs and disabilities, however would be open to other qualifications and experience if relevant.
