Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
Producing and updating CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical systems, primarily using SolidWorks
Redlining project drawings and supporting ongoing design updates in collaboration with the project team
Working through a backlog of workshop drawings to ensure timely delivery
Coordinating with engineers and project leads to ensure drawings meet project requirements
Supporting project documentation and design control processes
Previous experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in mechanical or electrical systems
Proficiency in SolidWorks and general CAD practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings
Ability to work independently and manage multiple drawing tasks
Flexible approach to work, supporting both project and workshop demands
Location and timeframe of the Draughtsman position:
Tilbury, UK
Immediate start date
Contract until May 2026 (approx. 8-9 months), with potential to transition to permanent
