Registered General Nurse RGN Beautiful Residential Care Home in Whitby.
Full Time - Permanent role within fantastic facilities. Very values driven.
Hourly rate starting at £20.60 per hour negotiable depending on experience
Full-time - Days or Nights - Every other weekend

You will need be a qualified nurse with registration with an NMC PIN and excellent English Language skills. Sponsorship would be considered for the right candidate. You will be expected to have the experience in a similar care home environment and be happy to complete further training and development as required.

Requirements for this Role:

  • Excellent Communication with a good level of English - written and verbal
  • Qualified RGN with a valid NMC PIN
  • Visa sponsorship can be considered
  • Able to maintain all care plans/care records in accordance with the service s policy and audit care records following company policy to ensure compliance
  • Fantastic Problem-solving Skills
  • Dedicated to person centered care
  • Ability to adapt and address situations quickly
  • Plan, develop, implement and assess approaches to promote health and wellbeing
  • Can recognise and report situations where there might be a need for protection
  • Expereince of nursing in a care home environment with older people and residents with dementia is a strong advantage

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • Undertake the care planning activities for service users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent
  • Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with service users, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure that all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date on RADAR & the PCS
  • Undertake all aspects of medication management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
