HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Duties & Responsibilities
The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed. We prioritize safety and efficiency in our operations, providing necessary training and PPE to ensure a professional and secure working environment.

A minimum 3 months experience within last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.
- Drive and operate a class 2 dust car, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
- Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
- Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
- Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
- Work as part of a small team
HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Person Specification
- UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
- Digital tachograph card & CPC card
- Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
- Keen and eager to learn new skills
- Excellent, professional work ethic
- Good team working skills and good communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
