Fire Door Inspector
Central London

The role:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Fire Door Inspector / Surveyor to join a specialist team. You will play a vital role in ensuring fire safety compliance by carrying out detailed inspections and assessments of fire doors across high-profile sites, including banks and hospitals in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of fire doors in line with industry regulations.
Identify and record defects, producing clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
Advise clients on remedial actions to maintain compliance and safety standards.
Work closely with facilities and safety teams to ensure all fire doors meet the latest legal and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Certified Fire Door Inspector (FIRAS, BM TRADA, or IFC)
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety standards (BS 8214, Approved Document Part B)
- CSCS card preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting and communication skills
- Previous experience working in complex, high-security environments (desirable)
