English Teacher Needed in Chesham PRU

Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time Temp-to-Perm
Salary: £33,075 £50,471 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Chesham starting September 2025.

About the Role:
You will teach English to students at Key Stage 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet their individual needs. This is a full-time role, initially temp-to-perm through Supply Desk, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons

• Support students to build confidence and improve literacy skills

• Monitor progress and give helpful feedback

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom

• Work closely with other staff to support student success

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (strong English knowledge considered)

• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)

• Good classroom management skills

• A caring and patient approach to teaching

• A team player motivated to help students succeed
