Merchandiser Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of designated product areas, driving strategies to maximise sales and margin
- Partner with the buying team to support the build of balanced, commercial ranges through data-driven insights
- Collate and analyse sales and seasonal performance to highlight trends, must-haves, and best sellers
- Manage WSSI for allocated categories, ensuring accurate forecasting
- Take action to reduce terminal stock and maximise availability
- Collaborate with the warehouse and merchandising teams to optimise stock flow
- Support the planning and execution of promotional activity in line with company strategy
- Share KPIs and performance insights with the wider merchandising and buying teams, escalating risks where necessary
Merchandiser Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser in a retail or e-commerce environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Confident in WSSI management, OTB, and margin planning
- Commercially minded with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
