Job Description

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Management Accountant for our engineering client based in Highland region. This is a permanent position, office based. You will be working with internal departments within the UK and with the European Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing month end and annual year end accounts & reports
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
  • Monitoring capital project spend and completion reviews
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
  • Training and support within the wider finance teams.
  • Be driven and proactive in working within a fast paced international business environment

Skills and experience required for the Management Accountant role:

  • Qualified Accountant, finance professional with a proven track record within a Management Accountancy role or similar,
  • Experience of working with financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced excel skills - ability to manipulate data for financial analysis (including pivot tables and lookups) Good IT skills
  • Desirable, Microsoft Dynamics AX, product costing & running SOX and internal control audits not an essential
