Goods In Operative

We are seeking a Goods In Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Lancing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. A valid forklift licence is preferred; however, we will consider applicants with proven experience operating forklifts. You should also have experience handling international documentation and completing customs forms.

As a Goods In Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Inspection and quality control
• Labelling and tagging
• Preparing international documentation, including customs forms for overseas deliveries
• Order picking
• Driving forklifts
• Dealing with deliveries and stock

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or logistics work
• Previous experience drafting international documentation, including customs forms
• Forklift licence or previous experience using one
• Health & safety awareness
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

This is a full time permanent position based in Lancing, working Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:15pm and with a 3pm finish on Fridays. The salary is £30,000 per annum.
