Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support audit assignments, including planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audits for a variety of clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance to enhance their technical and professional skills.
- Prepare financial accounts and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Utilise advanced software tools such as CCH ProAudit and Digita to streamline the audit process.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit methodologies and external regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships, providing insights that contribute to their long-term success.
Candidate Requirements: - ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with hands-on audit experience from a medium or large firm.
- Solid background in preparing statutory financial accounts and corporate tax returns.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and clear communication with clients.
- Proven leadership abilities, including supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Attention to detail and professional scepticism to conduct thorough and responsible audits.
