We're working with a highly respected, family-run financial planning company who pride themselves on delivering a personal, client-first service.

They have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Financial Adviser to join their team, initially focusing on providing support to Advisers.

You'll join a close-knit team, working closely with the Director to learn the business inside-out. Over a 3-year period, they will support you to gain qualifications, whilst providing compressive training on all aspects of the advice process, giving you a ready-made foundation for a successful advisory career.

What's on offer:

  • Salary of £27,000 - £31,000 bonus and clear earning progression
  • Support for the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Clear route from administration to full client-facing financial advice
  • A professional but relaxed environment, far removed from a typical corporate structure
  • Mentorship from the Director
  • Free on-site parking and hybrid working once established

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Advisers, including preparing documentation, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records
  • Assist with gathering and analysing client information to support the preparation of financial plans
  • Attend client meetings alongside advisers to observe and learn the advice process
  • Liaise with product providers to obtain policy information, valuations, and illustrations
  • Ensure all compliance requirements and internal procedures are followed at every stage of the advice process
  • Support with the preparation of suitability reports and investment reviews under supervision
  • Take part in regular mentoring sessions with senior advisers to develop technical knowledge and client relationship skills
  • Gradually increase client-facing responsibilities, moving towards full advisory duties over a 3 year period

About you:

  • Experience working in regulated Financial Services role (desirable)
  • Progress towards industry exams (desirable)
  • Organised, professional, and confident in client-facing situations
  • Looking for a long-term career in financial advice with a clear development pathway
  • Comfortable working in-office most of the week, with some flexibility available
