We're working with a fantastic school that is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils who need consistency, patience, and care to reach their full potential.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create inclusive learning environments
  • Helping students build confidence, resilience, and life skills


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs (Essential)
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Team player with great communication skills
