Job Description

Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role:

  • Continious Improvement Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer
  • Location : Worcester
  • Hybrid Model
  • ASAP Start
  • 12 months initial contract
  • Inside IR35
  • 25.50 - 32.80 per hour

(Additive Manufacturing)

Role Overview: The Process Improvement Specialist will focus on optimizing the operational efficiency of PBF LB/M machines through data-driven methodologies. This role will require expertise in statistical analysis and a solid understanding of additive manufacturing processes.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Preferred - Experience essential over degree.
  • Experience in process improvement within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and experience with sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with PBF LB/M machines and industrial additive manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.



Your responsibilities

  • Analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement in PBF LB/M machine operations.
  • Develop and execute process control plans to enhance machine performance and product quality.
  • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to track and improve process metrics.
  • Design and conduct sensitivity studies to evaluate the effects of process variations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements.
  • Document findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Candidate ideally to have a engineering/manufacturing background such as in aerospace etc.
