Job Description
Location: Coventry (on-site at student accommodation building)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1-2 weeks (with potential for extension)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime
Team Size: Up to 4 painters
Role & Responsibilities:
Preparing surfaces by filling, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, and woodwork
Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, window frames, and skirting boards
Ensuring clean, even, and high-quality finishes to meet project specifications and deadlines
Working safely and efficiently within a busy construction site environment
Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to maintain work flow
Maintaining a tidy work space and adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Valid CSCS card - must be presented on site
Proven painting and decorating experience, ideally in commercial or large residential projects
Good knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques
Own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working at height (using ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
