Mobile App Developer

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + Bonus
Location: Sunderland (Hybrid)

My client is a rapidly growing SaaS organisation offering a market leading solution designed to support human capital and workforce management for clients across the globe.

The Mobile App Developer is a crucial appointment in realising this ambition, responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

The Role:

Leading React Native projects from cradle-to-grave and taking responsibility for projects already in-flight
Building mobile applications using React Native, including designing user interfaces and implementing functionality
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and standards
Ensuring application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency
Identifying and resolving bugs, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring code quality
Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in the mobile development process

The Candidate:

Strong React Native experience
Strong understanding of mobile development principles and best practices
Experience with cross-platform development (iOS and Android)
Expertise in testing best practices and automation
Familiarity with CI tools and mobile pipelines
Ability to solve complex problems with clean, maintainable code
Experience with mobile performance, UX, and security
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving and analytical skills
