Qualified Social Worker - Adults Team Location: Merseyside Pay Rate: Up to £46 per hour Contract Type: Agency (Ongoing) Hours: Full-time Make a real impact supporting adults across Merseyside. We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Adult Social Workers to join a high-performing team delivering vital care and safeguarding services. This is a hospital-based role focused on hospital discharges, Care Act assessments, and complex safeguarding cases. You'll work across two hospitals within the authority, holding cases and supporting adults during times of vulnerability. About the Role You will: Carry out Care Act 2014 assessments and develop person-centred care plans Undertake safeguarding investigations and manage complex cases Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe hospital discharges Fulfil duty responsibilities within the team Apply legislation including the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and Human Rights Act What You'll Need Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, SW, or CSS) Registration with Social Work England Minimum of 4 years' post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care Solid understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Skilled in hospital discharge planning Confident in managing complex safeguarding cases Experienced in multi-agency working Committed to improving outcomes for adults and their families Empathetic, solution-focused, and able to build trust with service users Willing to support the development of junior staff and students Why Join Through Pertemps?
