Our client is looking to take on 3 new freelance hires with experience in the UK defence industry to look after packages of work in one of the basin areas. Currently we need one Electrical Package Manager and an Assistant MEP Package Manager. You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence. You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones. You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project. Review of design and engagement through the design process, assisting the design team where appropriate. Assist with scoping work packages for design drawings in line with the other package managers. Assist with procurement of packages, reviewing and appointing subcontractors alongside the commercial team. Providing support to construction managers to ensure trade work packages are attaining the agreed delivery programme. Liaising with Building PM's / CM's as to their requirements to attain delivery programme. Input and review the Contractor Reporting (Dashboard). Attend regular Progress Meetings.
