A welcoming and dynamic primary school in the Chesham & Dacorum area is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the RoleAs the EYFS Teacher, you will create a safe and inspiring learning space where children feel confident and motivated to explore. You ll plan and deliver creative, hands-on activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every child.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Observe and assess children s progress and support individual learning milestones
Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, exploration, and kindness
Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and staff to support each child s development
Maintain open and positive communication with families
Participate in whole-school initiatives, enrichment programs, and professional development
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early Years specialism preferred
Experience working in EYFS or nursery settings
Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS statutory framework
A creative, energetic, and patient teaching approach
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
