Short-Term English Teacher - Up to £220/day - Reading

A dynamic secondary school in Reading is seeking a passionate and adaptable English teacher for a short-term assignment. This role involves full planning and preparation responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and support their academic progress.

• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
• Duration: Short-term contract
• Pay: Up to £220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Prepare resources and assessments in line with curriculum standards
• Support student progress through effective teaching and feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language
• Experience in planning and delivering lessons independently
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
