Control Panel Wireman - Clydebank

First Achieves Engineering Team is actively recruiting a Control Panel Wireman to join our client's team in Clydebank. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Fitter looking to advance their career with a respected industry leader.
About the Role:
Our client operates a four-day working week at their Clydebank factory, giving you the benefit of a long weekend every week! Please note, due to the hands-on nature of this role, remote or hybrid working options are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately reading and interpreting electrical drawings to wire control panels
Wiring and fitting of control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and distribution boards
Common control wiring and PLC wiring
Fitting copper busbars
Wiring and assembling Motor Control Centres (MCCs)
Occasional UK-based site visits may be required
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a similar panel wiring role is essential
Strong knowledge of switchgear and switchboard wiring
Experience with electrical testing of switchgear panels and MCCs is a plus
Relevant qualifications or time-served apprenticeship preferred
