Role Requirements
Essential Experience
- Minimum 4 years working in UK defence surface ships (consultancy or Armed Forces background considered)
- In-depth knowledge of DSA02-DMR and Def Stan 00-056 safety standards
- Proven track record in managing and delivering technical safety projects (single or multiple)
- Experience supporting bids and business development activity
- Strong communication, professionalism, and client-facing skills
- Highly organised, capable of working independently (including remotely)
- Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experience using safety and risk analysis techniques such as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA
- Background in autonomous platforms and naval technology
- Client relationship management & securing enduring contracts
- Experience leading or managing small teams
- Degree qualified
- Chartered Engineer or member of a recognised professional institution
