The scheme involves the construction of new teaching facilities, extensive refurbishment of listed buildings, and upgrades to infrastructure across multiple sites including a central library, college buildings, and adult education centres. The project incorporates Building Information Modelling (BIM) and includes associated access roads, landscaping, and parking. Role Summary Electricians will be responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems across various buildings within the development. Work will be carried out in both new-build and refurbishment environments, including listed structures, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety and heritage standards. Key Responsibilities Install and terminate electrical wiring, containment, and fixtures Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems Work in coordination with site teams and other trades Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and electrical regulations Assist with temporary power setups and adjustments as required Maintain accurate records of work completed Requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation ECS Gold Card or JIB-approved status Experience working on large-scale or multi-building developments Familiarity with BIM-coordinated installations (preferred) Ability to work safely and efficiently in live construction environments Immediate availability Rates 25-28 per hour CIS
