Primary School Headteacher
Location: South Oxfordshire
Start Date: Spring Term 2026
Pay Scale: £58,569- £143,796
A welcoming and highly sought after primary school near Wallingford are searching for a Headteacher to join their leadership team from the beginning of the Spring Term 2026.
The perfect candidate for this Headteacher position will be someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the pupils in their new school. They will be an inspiring and motivated individual who is seeking to refine their skills as a Headteacher or is wanting to take the step up from a current senior leadership position.
The school places importance on Inclusion and championing individual successes of each of its pupils. Therefore, the ideal candidate for this Headteacher role will be someone who embodies these qualities.
The requirements for this Headteacher position:
- Evidence of previous SLT role
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- An excellent understanding of pastoral care and evidence of sound judgement when dealing with day-to-day running of the school i.e. school budget, safeguarding
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in leadership and setting a standard for teaching and learning
- Competent knowledge of teaching legislation
