As we continue to grow, it is important that we strengthen in all departments. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team.
This a permanent position on the day shift which is Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday. Rate on pay is dependent on your experience, and we are looking to start the successful candidate as soon as possible.
Job Specification
- Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings.
- Producing CNC programmes from customer drawings.
- Ability to inspect own work to drawings.
- CNC Programming and Operating Systems.
- Aerospace requirements / standards, tolerancing and controls.
- General high standard of Engineering ability.
- Maintain your area to a high standard of 5S.
Person Specification
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience of CNC Milling and Turning.
- Ability to programme is advantageous, the ability set and operate different machine tools is required
- Familiar with HAAS controls (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience within the Aerospace industry.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of different materials.
