Flt Counterbalance Driver

We are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver for our client based in Tankersley, Barnsley, S75.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently in a warehouse, yard, or factory environment.

• Load and unload goods from vehicles, containers, or pallets.

• Move, stack, and organize products and materials in accordance with operational procedures.

• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance needs.

• Ensure accurate stock movements by following inventory management procedures.

• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch as per instructions or schedules.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and site-specific safety procedures at all times.

• Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, labelling, and housekeeping when required.

• Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and other team members.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

What we are ideally looking for is as follows:

• IT Literacy (excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good Communications skills both written and verbal
• Flexibility for business requirements
• Driving licence as public network links are limited
• Counterbalance FLT
• 360 Grab licence

Training can be provided.

What would my shifts be as an FLT Counterbalance Driver?

• Monday-Friday on Day shifts

What would be my pay rate as an FLT Counterbalance Driver?

• 12.40 - 14 depending on experience
