Location: Worcester,
Pay: ?15.00 - ?17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 15:00 (Full-time, Permanent)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a skilled manufacturing team producing high-quality structural and storage systems. This role will involve working on both standard and bespoke projects using modern fabrication equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
Perform welding (MIG and Stick) on mild steel and occasionally stainless steel.
Fabricate, assemble, grind, and finish components to specification.
Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and weld integrity.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with H&S standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a welder fabricator in a manufacturing or structural steel environment.
Skilled in MIG welding (Stick welding desirable).
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
Familiarity with workshop tools, machinery, and safety procedures.
