Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher in the Oxfordshire area.
About the School:
This is a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school that supports children and young people with challenging behaviour.
Class sizes: 4-5 pupils per class, each with a Teaching Assistant
School roll: Approximately 64 pupils across Year 3 to Year 11
School day: Pupils attend from 8.50am to 3.10pm, with staff working from 8.30am to 4.30pm
Teachers are required to plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of the pupils
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

Job requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3-4 (KS2 desirable)
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children with SEMH needs
Role responsibilities:
Planning, preparing, and delivering Science lessons
Adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
