Air Conditioning Engineer - Installation or Service & Maintenance

Location: Leicester/ Midlands OR London based UK

About the Role:

This is a flexible role that can be tailored to your experience and strengths - whether your background is in installations, service and maintenance, or both. This company recognises that engineers often specialise in one area, and are happy to build your role around what you do best.

Responsibilities (depending on your skill set):

• Installation of air conditioning systems (split, VRV/VRF, etc.)
• Routine service and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Ensuring work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations
• Completing all relevant documentation accurately and on time
• Liaising with customers and team members in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Experience in either air conditioning installation or service and maintenance
• F-Gas certification (Category 1)
• Full UK driving license
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills (for service roles)
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• Experience with a range of manufacturers and system types
