We re looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or HGV Fitter to join a well-established commercial vehicle team in Willenhall. This night shift role offers strong earning potential and long-term job stability in a professional, well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers to VOSA standards
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently
• Complete MOT preparation and inspections
• Attend roadside breakdowns and on-site repairs when needed
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
• Complete compliance documentation and job cards accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Keep up to date with training and technical developments

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

Essential

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or HGV Fitter
• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 licence
• ADR licence
• Health and safety awareness in a workshop setting
