Business Development Manager

Manchester, Leeds, M62 Corridor

£40,000 £45,000 + commission

Take your sales career into the field and boost your earnings with an OTE of £60,000+ from year two.

You ll spend most of your time out on the road, building face-to-face relationships with customers across the North. There s real freedom here - you ll be managing your own schedule and owning your territory.

With realistic targets and a strong product line, you ll find it easy to win repeat business and grow accounts. The ventilation and air conditioning products are in high demand, giving you a clear edge when talking to small and medium-sized contractors and installers.

There s a solid commission structure behind it all, so the more you sell, the more you take home. You ll also get private healthcare, a pension, and access to a wellbeing programme, giving you peace of mind both on and off the road.

And because you ll be out and about most of the week, you won t be tied to a desk. You ll start each week working from home, then spend the rest building your network and closing deals in person.

What you'll do

Visit and develop relationships with contractors and installers, growing their spend and driving repeat sales. You ll identify opportunities, negotiate deals and use your expertise to increase market share.

With a focus on building long-term partnerships, you ll have the chance to shape the sales strategy and make a real impact on your earnings and career progression.

What you'll need

  • Experience in sales, ideally with some exposure to customer-facing or consultative selling
  • Willingness to work in a field-based position, managing your own time and territory
  • Confidence in building relationships and influencing buying decisions
