Location: Bristol (1 to 2 days in office per week)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary (2 to 3 months)
Rate: £15.34 to £15.89 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a national health charity to recruit an organised and proactive Fundraising and Membership Officer. The role will play a key part in ensuring supporters and members have a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver operational tasks for the membership programme, including renewals, new sign-ups, and payment processing.
  • Ensure donations and memberships are processed, recorded, and acknowledged promptly.
  • Maintain accurate database records in line with fundraising regulations and GDPR.
  • Manage mailing lists for the membership magazine.
  • Handle outgoing post and office-based tasks (Bristol office, 1 2 days/week).
  • Respond to membership enquiries via phone and email.
  • Support team meetings and contribute to wider organisational activities.

What We re Looking For

  • Recent experience in a similar fundraising role.
  • Confidence using CRM databases (Raiser's Edge).
  • Knowledge of ME and its impact will be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
