Principal Electrical Design Engineer

We have been providing a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering consultancy services since 2007 and are now expanding our Civil and Structural Engineering division.

Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.

Role Overview

Due to continued growth we have opportunities for Principal Electrical Design Engineers. You will be designing electrical systems and solutions for complex European and UK hyperscale data centre projects.

The projects you will be working on are with major players in the data centre sector where the company has established relationships. Not only will you have your chance to work on some of the key projects across UK and Europe but also be part of a supportive team of engineers in the UK, and a collaborative "one global team" approach towards delivering the highest quality designs to clients. Don't worry if you haven't worked on data centre projects yet as we have a thorough programme to provide you with all the knowledge that we know!

Essential skills

• A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services Designs and the delivery of medium to large scale projects in a variety of sectors, from concept designs through to completion.
• Technical knowledge in electrical design and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
• A collaborative team player who is happy to share their knowledge with those around them and always be open to learning and developing themselves professionally and personally.
