CNC Router Operator - Job Description
Salary: 29,000 - 32,000 per year Location: ASHFORD Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to join a growing production team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of advanced machinery as part of a business undergoing exciting investment and expansion.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in setting, operating, and programming a 3-axis flatbed CNC router, with the ability to read and work from production drawings to achieve the best results. You'll be working with materials such as aluminium, acrylic, foam PVC, polycarbonate, and aluminium composite panels.

In addition to CNC router operation, you'll also have the chance to work with CNC Waterjet and CNC Laser cutting machines. Previous experience with these machines is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and program CNC Router (ArtCam software)
• Operate CNC Waterjet (SignLAB software) and CNC Laser (training provided if required)
• Read and interpret production drawings accurately
• Select and set up materials correctly for each job
• Inspect and test finished components for quality and fit
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production targets
• Uphold high standards of Health & Safety at all times
