About the Role:
Cover People are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in North Manchester starting from Monday 15th September until at least Christmas.
This is a full time temporary opportunity for a passionate and reliable educator to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Science across KS3 & KS4 and contribute positively to the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to department planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners
Person Specification:
Essential:
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE Science
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- A passion for teaching and pupil progress
- Right to work in the UK
