About the roleAs a technician 3 to join our growing Configuration team, responsible for providing efficient IT configuration services. Below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts:Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location: Raynesway - Derby DE21 7BDContract Duration: 5 MonthsRoles and Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy up to 405 Windows 11 Fat Clients in accordance with the agreed deployment schedule.
• Execute decommissioning activities for legacy systems as part of the transition plan.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth rollout and compliance with technical standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deployment progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Adhere to all submarine site protocols and security requirements during onboarding and execution.

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• Security Clearance: Must hold an active SC Clearance.
• Nationality: British National only, with no dual nationality.
• Experience: Proven track record in large-scale Windows 11 deployments and client decommissioning.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows OS imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Availability: Able to commit to a 65-day engagement, with flexibility around start dates pending PO confirmation.
• Onboarding: Willing to undergo submarine site onboarding ( 4 weeks lead time).

• A per hour, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays-Approved Umbrella Company).
