Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) - Major Energy Project
Location: Bridgwater (Hybrid between home, site and an office-site facility)
Salary: 70,000 to 85,000 + Package
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in M&E projects? Do you have strong knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contracts and want to work on one of the UK's most high-profile energy projects?
I'm working with a leading engineering contractor that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Role:
- Commercial management of large-scale M&E works packages within a major infrastructure project.
- Contract administration under FIDIC or NEC forms.
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
- Subcontract management - procurement, valuations, payments, and final accounts.
- Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure commercial success.
- Based partly at HPC (Bridgwater) or the company's off-site fabrication facility in Bridgwater, with flexibility to work from home part of the week.
About You:
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven M&E project experience.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contracts.
- Able to demonstrate solid commercial management, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Ideally from a contractor background, with experience on complex, high-value engineering projects.
