Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from the farm shop.

• Menu Planning: Assist in creating menus that showcase seasonal produce and farm shop products.

• Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

• Inventory Management: Source and manage inventory of ingredients, working closely with the farm shop team.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, interacting with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.

Requirements:

• Culinary Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in Professional Cookery.

• Experience: Experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a farm shop or similar setting.

• Local Produce Knowledge: Familiarity with local, seasonal produce and farm shop products.

• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

• Creativity: Ability to create innovative dishes using seasonal ingredients.

• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing menus, ingredient availability, and customer demands.
