Freelance Site Manager (Steel Frame Industrial Refurbishment)

Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an existing industrial unit in Cornwall. The project involves structural works including the installation and modification of a steel frame, alongside internal and external refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities
- Liaise with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Oversee quality control and project timelines
- Maintain site records and produce progress reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing steel frame industrial or commercial projects
- SMSTS, CSCS , and First Aid certification
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple trades
