HGV Driver Class 1 C+E

We are looking to engage a HGV Driver (Class 1 / C+E)

Working for what is the largest Freight Operator on Earth, working from our Depot in Stoke your hours of work will commence at 06.00 and finish between 15.00 and 16.00 Monday to Friday
The role will involve the operation of one of the Group's low mileage DAF Trucks and Trailers, hauling anything from wheels and axles to bogies used on Rail Freight Wagons. Material and parts are moved across the UK between a multitude of Depots and Out Stations but always setting out and returning to the Depot in Stoke

Key responsibilities will include planning of appropriate routes
Safe loading and load removal
Ensuring load safety and security at all times
Safe, courteous and efficient driving standards
Ensuring cleanliness and good house keeping for your truck

This role will be engaged on a Temp2Perm basis

Paying 19.16 per hour ( 40 - 41.5k p/a)
5 days a week, Monday to Friday
Excellent working conditions, 33 days leave pa

A clean license, however, we can consider up to 6 points
Live within reasonable commute of ST4
Fit and Healthy
Previous experience of hauling heavy goods
Nice to have would be experience in the operation of a HIAB
