Are you a Design Manager or a Design Engineer that wants to take the step up into a Manager or Team Leader role of a small team of 2 designers that are already well established?

Do you want to join a global leader in the container and storage business that makes truly bespoke equipment for customers and where you will have full autonomy to propose new business ideas?

This business have gone from strength to strength in the last decade and again are expanding their design team, with a senior designer and a junior already having a year of work together we are now looking to onboard somebody who can effectively lead this team and build it in your own image.

The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD design and SolidWorks background, that wants to either step into a team lead role or who has already had experience in a similar position with transferable skills.

THE ROLE:

• Lead the design team of 2 staff
• Sign of a variety of bespoke designs
• Coach and mentor junior members of the team
• Work with other senior team members across the business to create new innovative ideas to help the business grow and evolve
• Help create designs in CAD and SolidWorks

THE PERSON:

• Design background in CAD and SolidWorks
• Willingness to lead a small team of designers
• Commutable distance to Worthing, whether this is hybrid or remote with occasional visits
