The Role: Lead Administrator

Location: Warwick/Wokingham, UK- Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite Mandatory

Role type: Inside IR35 Contract Position

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills: CISCO ACI Admin

Experience: 8-10 Years

LAN/WAN and SD-WAN
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching certification is desirable
In depth knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, SD-WAN (CISCO Viptela highly desirable) and data center infrastructure, configuration, and operations
In depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), carrier WAN and Internet offerings, cloud network services.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches, implementing QoS, and managing network segmentation and redundancy.
In depth knowledge of Firewalls, Zscaler and load balancer(F5) infrastructure, configuration, and operations.

Wireless
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Cisco CCIE Wireless/Aruba Expert Level (ACMX, ACDX, ACCX) certification is desirable
Certified Wireless Networking Professional (CWNP) and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is desirable
Has thorough knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure and understanding of software defined networking.
In depth knowledge of Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Central, Aruba Naas) and private 5G (eg Celona) solutions
In depth knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure, WLAN authentication and understanding of software defined networking.
Engineers with a strong mix of the above would be ideal, however please prioritise the LAN/WAN and SD-WAN skillsets.
