Job Title: Social Worker - Learning Disabilities
Location: South Tyneside (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: 26 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join its client's Learning Disabilities team based in South Tyneside.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will,

  • Assess individuals with learning disabilities under the Care Act to determine their support needs
  • Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans in collaboration with individuals and families
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act
  • Safeguard vulnerable individuals by identifying risks and taking appropriate action
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and housing officers

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
